Eastern WA, South of Spokane.

Note the freeways and traffic jams, and the build up of houses everywhere.
Sunday April 13.
I would stick it in the 'commo site' thing but can't.

How far south? Looks like a site I passed in Idaho just over the state line south of Pullman years ago, hwy 95 dropping down into Lewiston...

The one on the right looks state patrol-ish Its how they built their stuff in years past...

Thanks!

That would be 154.845 for WSP; district 4/ Whitman county.
It's around 40 miles south of Spokane as the elephant flies.
There's some ham stuff here too.
The background is the 'Palouse'; the default Windows desktop.
(Looks more like it in late Spring).

That's a nice place to listen from. Last time I was up there it wass all dirt/gravel. I could hear Oregon State Police from Hermiston clear as a bell.

I need to buy another HT.
The only thing I had resembling a radio was an old MP3 player held together with duct tape.
In the 90's I was on Mt Spokane and was able to bring up Wenatchee repeaters with a hand-held.
About 180 miles as the seagull flies.

I used to get into a repeater, the 147.140 machine near Plains, MT, from up there. But then when you are at 5800 ft., that helps! Time for you to get a new handheld!

Yep.
I've been dumping my 'disposable' income into the pictured forest road cruiser for the upcoming Alaska trip.
My FT-50 crapped out on me. Won't even turn on.!.
