Channel 3 is 154.980 simplex, called "BLEN", which is used for short range unit-to-unit communications.

Channel 4 is the 154.965 repeater, called "King-F2" or "King-Tac". It's used as a tactical channel and auxillary dispatch. King County still maintains their F2 repeaters on this same frequency, which they use for Search and Rescue. Hence, Kitsap County included "King" in the channel name to remind users that it is shared.

Kitsap County CenCom plans to reconfigure the VHF system in 2008. The arrangement of input, output, and simplex frequencies will undergo significant changes along with some different channel names. Stay tuned...
