In other words the "c" & "a" have switched on all four sites?

Ah good point Jim. I didn't even notice that. Apparently, I didn't have the alternates plugged in to my PSR-800.

I didn't notice the changeover because my scanner(s) are picking up some garbage signal on the 774.03125 frequency. I only noticed because I was playing around with the VHF IWN sites and noticed the peer changes.

Some updated information on these 700 Mhz sites:

1. They have switched over to Phase 2 -- at least the control channels have... getting Phase 2 data. Waiting to hear any voice traffic to see if they're actually in Phase 2 mode. Pro96com says it's Phase 2 and the logs concur. (This is similar to the South Sound 911 system.)

2. The 700Mhz sites are going to be part of the "WSPDOT Network" which is "used for public safety and public service communications by the Washington State Patrol, Washington State Department of Transportation, IWN, and numerous other government agencies, and will facilitate future interoperability with city and county public safety communications systems."

3. The WSPDOT system currently uses 19 transmitter sites. Six more are in construction and more are planned over the next five years.
