I just read that the solar activity is very high right now. With some of the highest activity seen in years about to hit us. So that may have something to do with the poor reception.

I know you guys are focused on the BA's but there's also some activity going on the VHF marine channels. I think 23A is being used as a security channel. I usually scan VHF coming in to work and the marine band was very active this AM.

@Nickcarr, i've heard alot of that as well being so close to the water. LOTS of USCG activity as well.

So todays show I heard stuff on 237.8 and 255.2. I didnt hear anythign else like on 284.25 (not including Fat Albert or show control). Did anyone pick anything up?

237.8 and 255.2 seemed to be the only active freqs during the show. Show also seemed to have less chatter in years past (although they did talk once about walking up some people after a low pass).

I also did see BA #2 take off around 9 am that sunday putting didnt pickup anything on the BA freqs.
