Mostly went to check out the LTR system, but found a couple other things.

467.925 (D743) Victoria's Secret at Bellevue Square. Not quite as exciting as it should be. Simplex.

463.7375 (D155) Unknown construction. Lots of iron moving around, often on a crane.

451.2375 (D365) JCPenny. Also heard D026, sounded like maintenance guys. Repeated. Has a very long CWID (at least 20 seconds).

463.45 (67.0) Unknown taxi dispatch. Dispatchers transmit 110.9 PL, cabs 67.0. Heard units in the Bothell area as well as in Bellevue. Then I locked it out because taxis are the second most annoying thing after pagers.

I searched for the LTR system(s) under licenses WPXF825 (Bellevue Square Managers) and WPXF827 (Bellevue Place) since they're owned by the same corporation (they also own the Hilton and the Westin). There are a couple I couldn't find, and now, searching differently in ULS, I think there's a couple more I should add to the list for next time. I'm not sure if they're all lumped together, but I put them all in one bank since none of the LCNs that I found were duplicated.

464.875 I got on a Signal Stalker hit. I just looked it up and it's on WQAM384 (Bellevue Place) which is an IG license. Here's the talkgroups, and some notes:

0-01-045 Asking someone to bring up a "restroom closed" sign because the third floor men's restroom would be closed for the weekend for re-tiling.
0-01-075 Parking garage ops
0-01-085 Stuff going to room 2212
0-01-088 A lock was to be interrogated. Should be a simple interrogation. Another unit questioned if this was a guest request. 3 digit room numbers. (Unknown what crime the lock committed or whether or not it cooperated in interrogation).
0-01-100 Confirmed Bellevue Square Security. Inside and traffic.
0-01-101 Talking about work at the Hyatt
0-02-039 Front Desk calling Housekeeping
0-02-045 A child had been bleeding in the kid's cove and something about Guest Services. I think this one might be called Inside Maintenance. Mostly housekeeping ops.
0-02-055 Square61 talking to Square62. Something about the back door closing.
0-02-085 Calling to get it warmer in the Evergreen room. Not sure if it's on repeater 2, all I wrote down is -085.
0-02-100 Security for something. Possibly engineering and/or maintenance too.
0-02-102 Security?
0-02-118 Asking a unit to come to P5 for a supervisor's meeting. More traffic leads me to believe this is a security supervisor's channel.

I think that the antenna shown in the third photo is an RFID reader. These are used to read the RFID tags that are found on transit buses and used to tell a tracking system the location of each bus. Also used to automatically open gates (such as at parking garages) and for toll and revenue collection. (At many airports, each of the shuttles (rental car, hotel, etc.) are charged a fee each time they make a pass through the airport pick-up drives).

Was this taken in the Metro Tunnel?

Yeah, trying to figure out where they transmit for the Tunnel IR's.

Until recently, a technique known as "pipewrenching" was used to try and coerce a confession out of locks. This technique and other forms of torture were recently banned by the new Obama administration. :lol:

Seriously though, "interrogating" a lock probably refers to downloading data from a hotel type lock. These locks use access cards rather than keys to control access and have a small database contained within them that records the last twenty or so cards that have been used to operate the lock. These units are off-line and not connected to a network of any kind, so in order to obtain the data, you need to go up to the lock and connect something like a laptop or PDA to download the data. So, if something was reported missing from a hotel room, security could "interrogate" the lock to see who has recently been in the room.

Larger card access control systems, such as those used at the entrances to businesses, typically are "on-line" and allow reports of access activity to be generated centrally rather than requiring someone to go to each lock.

Interoperability is an attitude, not a technology.

Apparently Seattle (well, Kent) is getting it's own "expansion team" this year in the LFL, "The Seattle Mist".

It's reported to be one of the most "successful" teams, as over 3500 "Season Tickets" (there are 2 home games per year) have been sold.

Therefore I propose that the fall games of the Seattle Mist become "official" activities for INW. I'm sure there are plenty of "frequencies" to search out, or something like that.
