"State Patrol spokeswoman Krista Hedstrom says that a tow truck driver found the trooper with a gun shot wound to the head around 1 a.m. on State Route 103, in Pacific County.

The condition of the wounded trooper is not known."


Happened around 7 this morning ? I'm surprised we don't have any more updated info. I can't say I'm surprised at all by this. Even though no officers have been killed in the past couple of months....there have been a couple of officers shot at in the past week or so and a bunch of officer involved shootings.
