I am looking for a connector with an sma male part and a bnc female part. I know I can get it online but tryign to see if i can buy it locally (so i can get my scanner up working again faster). Radio Stank doesnt have it. Any idea who would have it in the Tacoma/Pierce County area?

Just order one from HRO in Portland... it'll only take a couple of days.

I know you have already ordered it, but next time you might want to check at one of the local radio shop like Industrial Communications, Day, etc.

Also Talley (http://www.talleycom.com/) has a site in Auburn but I'm sure they would have a minimum order, and I don't know about will call. Tessco is a great source for this stiuff, and they will sell to end useres, but they do not have a local warehouse in the Seattle area.

They don't sell to individuals. I tried to order some Antenex stuff almost 2 years ago, and after not returning my phone calls they told me that they wouldn't sell to an individual.

I was going to order from them as the piece i got fro mthem previously was better, but the shipping costs as much as the part. I may call them and see what they can do differently.

I love the fact I can walk into their store since I live in Portland and the sales guys there know my name and callsign at HRO.

If anyone needs anything like this in the future feel free to send me a PM. I can make up any custom cables you need, or the shop I work for can order anything from Tessco, or Talley if we don't have it on the shelf. I'm not doing this to make money, just a way to help out the users here.
