Here in Spokane county when they conduct the weekly Emergency Alert System test it comes across on NLEC-155.475.
I also hear S.A.M.E. broadcasts.
Yesterday (and previously) Amber Alert broadcasts have been transmitted.
Any other counties using NLEC?

That is the statewide link as far as I know, I've heard it on there for several years.

NLEC used here! I also heard the Amber Alert on it yesterday. To the best of my knowledge it's programmed into almost every PD's radios here...

I believe it is NLEEC, not NLEC.

Yeah you're right, I've seen both variations.
Just going by what was on the car radio. (Blaming the tech).
One of these days I'm going to stop by so you can install the NMO.

Around the Sound, 450.0875 has been used as an uplink to EAS. Mostly tests...
