Tulalip casino is on an LTR trunking system that I didn't realize they had. As we all know Tulalip PD is on an VHF frequencies. SERS 800MHz provides coverage in that area but Tulalip PD can't get on it because they wanted to be on it after they designed the system...this is what I have been told. What I have learned is that they are going to extend the Tulalip casino LTR trunking into a two extra site/zone system and move Tulalip PD to the LTR system. From my understanding they will keep the VHF radios in their cars and they have about 5 800 MHz HTs with SERS system on it. I find this interesting because I have never hear of a public service agency using an LTR....only in Kenwood and ICOM brochures and whats wrong with using VHF...

It's not common around here, is it a UHF or VHF LTR system?

City of Hollywood bought an LTR for their agencies several years ago.
