Greetings all- I'm back after a verry long time away from the board. Actually, the whole rebanding thing brought me back looking for information again. I see my PRO-2066 and BC-235XLT will soon no longer properly track the King County system. As it turns out, I have been asked to help sell off the equipment from a local Ham who passed away a month ago, and in the process picked up a PRO-163 and a PRO-92 (version 1.00) from the estate. (I will have other stuff to sell that I will list in the classified section, including my old scanners).
So, I will be wanting a cable and software to program these. Can I get away with the same cable and software for both, or do I need different cables and software for each. Also, any recommendations on which software is best? Does anyone have a data file for the Puget sound they want to share? Obviously, my current scanners do not have the option for computer programming, so this is new territory for me.
Thanks, Scott, NS7C
