Heard 2/17/09 08:05:47 on 1840, one of the Seattle Fire talkgroups: "The city is now on radio watch, the city is now on radio watch"

What is it?

It means CAD (computer Aided Dispatch) is down and normal unit alerting is down so they go on radio watch, every unit must keep a radio on and listen to the radio at all times.
