Sorry for the late reply on this one.

Spokane PD and SO use the same CAD system and the same dispo codes.

They use PRC CAD I believe.

Most of the PD's are dispatched by the S/O with the exception of Cheney PD and the Airport so those dispo codes are prety much universal with those two exceptions.

The airport PD RESPONDED to a cold report of writing on the mens room wall, easily removable per custodian via dispatch, with no suspect info.. Ya gotta love Spokane!

PRC is old stuff. Pretty much have to have a coder on staff to be able to afford to make programming changes.

PRC is all command line interface-no Windows,no GUI.

No data to share at the moment.

If I recall, to input a car stop was something like this:
4A34 T@552DDW,WA,MAPLE/WILLIAMS

Not much PRC around anymore.

I *believe* SNOPAC and SNOCOM (Snohomish County) is still using PRC in some kind of terminal "window". Though older, it's still a good, simple, and dependable CAD.....the screens aren't cluttered with crap you don't need, and it does just what it's supposed to do.

I liked using it. But, that was back in the late 80's and early 90's, when I was still playing around with DOS stuff. So, working with text-only interfaces wasn't a big deal, and for most of the field people it wasn't a very sharp learning curve.
