"1RED 1 Unit"--what is it?

Somewhere between 0:20 and 0:40 I heard a large engine outside; larger than a bus. I peeked outside, and it was SFD Engine 17. So I jumped on the SFD's website and looked up what they responded to. "1RED 1 Unit" is what they responded to. So I Googled that and found nothing. I went back to the dispatch log to give it another onceover and the incident had been reopened. Now E17 was responding with "MAR5" and E17 had two different entries under the same incident number (different times). Since this is only a few blocks from me, I grabbed my scanner and camera, here's what I saw:

That's the Rual/Metro Ambulance in front of 4232 The Ave. That's New China Express--good food--but not 4230 The Ave. 4230 is the Thai place next door--dark. I didn't think of checking the Alley in back--but why would an engine drive though an alley? Only thing I saw was the guy from R/M talking to a few people inside; then a guy left with some takeout, and then the R/M guy left a minute later. Since I tuned in I didn't hear anything involving the address or any of the units. Also, I looked at the Apparatus Showcase and couldn't find MAR5.

No incidents in the surrounding area on 10/20.

I also see, 8 blocks north, B6, E17, L9 responded to 5026 University Way NE as "3RED - 1 +1 + 1".

Here's a screenshot, as of right now, 01:12, the incident is still marked Active.

Mar5 is Marshall 5 SFD Fire Investigator.

I asked this question a while ago, this is the response I received.

Also, the R/M truck is what the Ops Supervisor drives. I'm sure he had nothing to do with the call, he was probably just grabbing grub to take back to the station.
