They numbered every station in the county in sequence, starting at 1. So for each station, the equipment is now numbered as such (eg. Station 22 has an Engine 22, Rescue 22, etc)
I have been trying to find a complete listing as well... So far this is what I have figured out:
Station 22: Whatcom County Fire District #02 (Sudden Valley)
Station 34: Whatcom County Fire District #08
Station 41: Whatcom County Fire District #07 (Under Construction: 2020 Washington Street, Ferndale)
Station 42: Whatcom County Fire District #07 (4047 Brown Road, Ferndale)
Station 43: Whatcom County Fire District #07 (5368 Northwest Drive, Bellingham)
Station 44: Whatcom County Fire District #07 (5491 Grandview Road, Birch Bay)
Station 45: Whatcom County Fire District #07 (1886 Grandview Road, Ferndale)
Station 46: Whatcom County Fire District #07 (6081 Church Road, Ferndale)
Station 56: Whatcom County Fire District #17 (Sandy Point)
Station 61: North Whatcom Fire & Rescue (Blaine Station)
Station 71: North Whatcom Fire & Rescue (Lynden Station)
Station 75: Lynden City Fire Department
Station 91: Whatcom County Fire District #14 (Sumas Station)
Station 92: Whatcom County Fire District #14 (Kendall Station)
Station 93: Whatcom County Fire District #14 Welcome Station)
Station 96: Whatcom County Fire District #19 (Glacier Fire Rescue)
And doing a quick search this morning, I found they have updated the Fire District Map at
