Did any of you folks monitor the goings on at Hemp Fest?
All of the event radios were rental Kenwood UHF radios. This huge event was using 14 channels, but I didn't have anything with me to see which channel was which frequency. I'm guessing they were just programmed from a pool of itinerant frequencies
I was working First Aid, we were on channel 13, for what it's worth. I do have the card with the full channel assignment lineup, if anyone can identify the frequencies on the radio it should be easy to match channels with assignment. By the way, these were not rentals from Day Wireless. Those are almost always Moto HT750s. These were from TCI? TCP? Something with a T. They were engraved with a number, but no stickers. I'm thinking if someone knows where they came from, they'll know the frequencies in the radios. I'd hope they don't have to reprogram all 16 channels in each radio every time they go out.
Also, the the Medic One guys were on Seattle EMS 6, but spent most of the time on the event radios with us. No bikes for 'em this time. It was just too crowded. They did, however, bring the gator-bulance.
Some pretty comical stuff on the radios down there.
