It seems things have changed here, I can no longer get most transmissions. Also the new maintenance facility nearby nearly takes my head off when they transmit on the old conventional frequency, but I only get the office transmission, nothing on replies. Can someone help me figure this out ? Old, dumb and out of touch, I need all the help I can get.

Sorry, I forgot to mention I'm using BC898t.

I heard guys talking a couple weeks ago on 453.875 and it was a repeater output, they sounded like they were coordinating some road work. Is this the same freq you're talking about?

kj7xe, yes that's the frequency I have always used. However, lately there has been far less traffic and I thought they had gone to trunking frequencies. So far I haven't found any other traffic from them, do you know of any?
