ok here is my problem. i have a pro 97 scanner, love it by the way. the problem is well let start from the beginning first i programed all the freqoentices for tacoma and i pickup everything quite well in fm mode. the problem is when switch it to "mot" the scanner to hear the talk groups well the scanner then just skips them altogether. now i will admit i'm new to this talk group/trunking thing so any help would be great.

I'm assuming you've programmed in the control channel and then you switched it to Motorola (MOT) mode. After doing that, you hit Func + Trunk and switched that to Motorola and then put in some talkgroups. After you put a few in, did you hit scan? Was the bank that you put that control channel in active during your scan? I.e. if you programmed the CC as channel 003 then was bank 0 active?

If you have the data cable, download Win97 and then attach a file with your programming.
