If possible the database needs to be updated, many listings for east Iowa are expired, can the database be rerun against the FCC database? Other sites like radiotoolshed are more up to date but are missing things like active low band users. They have people there that see some things on the forums, so they research it and add to their data. Several counties of Iowa are now on the state of iowa trunked system and on the 'sara' network which predominates in the larger cities here. Many counties have abandoned their VHF channels. Most of the sites are 'simulcast' and brig with it that set of problems. but some smaller counties have stayed on VHF. I notice when searching the FCC there are quicker results when specifying entire regions or counties or states. I also noted that some systems are registered out of state and you can't find them without searching that other state and locating sites in the target states.
Also there is some federal channel and locatoni data that turned up from a foia lawsuit that denotes numerous federal sites. Includes all non classified departments. I downloaded it but have to search several computers for it, there was an odd name associated with it.
