If you're in the Southeast US, try shooting some ducting tonight.

Last night's stand out was Gautier MS to Round Rock, TX at around 530 miles on 173mhz. I logged a lot of stuff from lower-central LA on 7/800, averaging 140 miles. Another find was Tyndall AFB at 190 miles on 406mhz.

Tonight's conditions are forecast to be better, with the strongest areas over southern LA.
