Nifty. Halfway between a BCD996XT and a BCD996P2. Guess someone at Uniden's design division got bored one afternoon.

Uniden trying to emulate Icom and their ostrich-like efforts to avoid DMR and trunking?

They're jumping on the NXDN bandwagon for rail, which has been talked about for years and has yet to make it on the mainline, mostly yard use. Unless AAR really mandates this, it's an idea.
