Natural Gas explosion after "heavy smell of gas" at the newly-renovated Motel 6 in Bremerton. LE3 and Fire 3 in service for most of the traffic now that things have become slightly organized... Law enforcement has established a perimeter and Kitsap Way and National Avenue along with a number of side streets have been closed to all but emergency vehicle traffic. Cencom is functioning at Phase 1A, countywide. All routine Bremerton City law enforcement calls are being handled on the South County frequency, designated LE2, 155.430. The Bremerton LE3 (154.995) as mentioned earlier is now being used exclusively by all LE units assigned to perimeter and other law enforcement duties related to the incident. Media is being staged at the "Total Satellite and Video" store off of Kitsap Way. |
