WINDY CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED NEAR THE CASCADES FRI NIGHT Description Windy Conditions are Expected Across Much of Western washington Late Saturday Afternoon and Saturday Night A Low Pressure System will Develop Off the Northern California Coast Friday Night then Move Inland Across Western washington Late Saturday Afternoon Into Saturday Night. There is Some Uncertainty Concerning How Deep the Low will Get, How Quickly It will Be Weakening As It Moves Inland, and What the Storms Wind Field Will Look Like. However, It Does Appear That It will Get Windy Across Portions of Western washington Friday Night and Saturday Night. Increasing Easterly Flow Ahead of this Low will Likely Give Locally Windy Conditions to Areas near the West Slopes of The Cascades Friday Night. at this Time It Appears That Locations East of Interstate 405 in the Central Portion of the Puget Sound Lowlands will See East winds 20 to 30 MPH with Some Gusts to 45 MPH for a Few Hours Friday Night. Windy Weather will Likely Overspread Much of Western washington Late Saturday Afternoon and Saturday Night As the Low Moves Inland. at this Time It Appears That winds Across Much of Western washington will Reach 20 to 30 MPH with Gusts to 45 MPH. but If The Low Gets a Little Stronger Than Currently Expected, Some Locations May See damaging winds. The National Weather Service will be Monitoring the Development Of this Low Pressure System. if It Becomes Stronger Than Expected, We will Issue High Wind Watches or Warnings As Needed.
