A passerby reports a girl went over the railing, lowered herself down a bit, then dropped from the Deception Pass Bridge. North Whidbey Fire and Rescue responding with their boat. Island County SO boat on the way, State Parks personnel have launched their boat from the State Park. Coast Guard SAR has been requested. Skagit Co Fire/Sheriff have been advised, but I'm not listening to them. Island Co SO: 453.050 (100.0), some back up comms on 453.675 (100.0) North Whidbey Fire & Rescue: 153.755 (100.0) State Park Rangers on WSP Mt. Vernon: 155.505 (141.3), and probably 151.280 simplex. |

Yea - it didn't work out very good for her. But, based on the rental car and the maps/notes it contained, it was probably the outcome she wanted. Sad. |

Over 420 people have lost their lives on that bridge. Some jumped others fell while climbing on the cliffs. |
