Later on today their might be good scanning with the Seattle-King County Public Safety System. Last year SPD was busy. Anyone want to add to this?

Command 3 just went into service. The march is just about to start.

Its unfortunate these people do not expend the same amount of passion and energy toward finding a job. On the lighter side of things it gives SPD an opportunity to exercise their riot control training and cycle their tear gas inventory.

Add Tac-2, Tac-3 and State Ops-3.

Tac-3 is patched somewhere.

close call:
461.125 from 4th/Pike - ..someone meeting under sign..
158.400 something about getting cars back home.
216.180 near a news van. Sounded like the director counting down for the reporters live in the field. The signal got weaker as I road away so it was probably coming from the news van.

Nothing from my QTH several blocks away, but I was watching a few black-clad fellows utilizing TRBO radios and binos.

If the radios are not Wouxun HT's then they are Day Wireless rentals. I'm guessing the one legal march has the Wouxun's.

Probably Day, they also did the Hempfest radios last year.

At least one "anarchist" dunce is carrying a backpack full of improvised flashbangs. Protesters approaching YSC (juvie hall).

The "superheroes" in their "PJs" have arrived. :D

Bypassed the YSC, headed downtown. Folks attempted to get on the freeway at one point, but were turned back. Anarchists apparently hiding in bushes and at least one rooftop near the YSC still.
