Police Chief Jerry Dodd said the man worked for a consulting and construction company in Sammamish, Wash., east of Seattle. He was not immediately identified. Firefighters and medics responded after the man fell Friday from the tower at a Mount Vernon fire station. He was pronounced dead at Skagit Valley Hospital. Dodd says the cell tower is on city property that is leased to commercial cellular providers.
