In Portland.

The one on the West side of I-5 @ Columbia River. I think it's been sitting vacant for the last few years.

I was N Bound out of Eugene approx 3PM today when called and told of fire + massive backups.

I rolled through approx 7PM, PFB was still pouring water, at least 2 structures are toast. Traffic was moving so I didn;t get a good look (or ANY pics :( )

So, not QUITE "breaking..."

Yeah, this was a 5 alarm fire; last time Portland had a 5 alarm was in 1999.

I saw the huge smoke trail from the roof my work; you could even see the glow.

I drove across the Interstate Bridge yesterday, there was still a back up of traffic southbound gawking at the rubble and the Fire Bureau had a stick pouring water on it.
