I live near the water and I was wondering if anyone had any idea what frequencies might allow me to hear the naval vessels I keep seeing thru my window? |

You'll hear stuff on marine #14 & 16. |

Not that I can remember, it's been to long since I've lived over there. If I had a few days to spend on a Puget Sound beach with a scanner, I'd punch in all the Marine freq's, or (what I almost did) buy a cheap marine hand-held with a scan mode and let it do it's thing. |

If you see a big boat try scanning 390-406 and listen for an EDACS control channel. This would be their Hydra system. |
