According to The Olympian's news partner, KIRO 7:

Police have a house in Montesano surrounded after a judge was stabbed and a corrections officer shot at a courthouse in Montesano.

Police said that after receiving a call about a suspicious person at the courthouse, a female corrections officer from the Grays Harbor County Sheriff’s Office approached the person and a confrontation began.

KIRO 7 Eyewitness News reporter Richard Thompson said during the confrontation, a superior court judge was stabbed in the neck and the corrections officer was shot in the shoulder.

The attacker then ran from the courthouse and a massive, multi-agency manhunt ensued.

It is not known if the suspect had a gun or if the corrections officer’s weapon was used.

The conditions of the victims is not known.

Just spent the better part of an hour locked in the Grays Harbor Hospital in response to this incident.
Made a break, I'll see what I can find on the way back.

Suspect now in custody according to WSP

Montesano is still crazy. Locals / sheriffs running around code.
Still looking for something, not sure what.

Last was the "limping subject" who dropped a backpack behind a clinic, but then didn't.
