156.135, near Wilkeson. Pierce-1 aircraft onscene, last known search area N 47.4.427 by W 121.58.149. Unknown who they're looking for, but I was bear hunting there this afternoon and the weather was ugly as hell. Plenty of people out there. |

Hasty SAR ground teams enroute to check a possible small fire and heat source moving around it approx 3 miles NW of last coords, other side of Sunset Lake camp. Pierce-1 just switched to another freq, unk which. |

Campfire a bust; they're enroute to another area. Possibly related traffic on Pierce County DEM 151.355 (167.9). Check the news tomorrow; I'm for bed. |
