Any word as to what made the loud boom in Portland OR about an hour ago?
Speculation it was a sonic boom. 2nd boom in 2 weeks. Cause of that one still not determined.

A buddy of mine that works for Portland Fire, told me that the news and Portland Police are reporting that it was a pipe bomb..............

Yup, KATU reports it was a pipe bomb over at Power Marine Park by Sellwood Bridge.

I just got to work at Mt Scott when I heard it.
