Sounds like this : http://www.kirotv.com/news/22903255/detail.html When police arrived, they discovered the Lincoln Navigator had been reported stolen, and ordered the man and woman inside to come out, authorities said. Police said the man jumped into the driver's seat, started the SUV's engine, and while fleeing the scene, rammed three Federal Way police vehicles. Two officers fired at the driver as he fled. The SUV was later found nearby and the alleged driver, who suffered a gunshot wound to the arm, was found hiding in the carport of a home. Police said the suspect is a 17-year-old man with a long criminal history. He was transported to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries. When I read the headline of this article I was thinking to myself....not again....it sounded really bad at first.. "Federal Way Officer Found Dead In Patrol Car" Does sound bad but at least it wasn't another officer involved shooting, curious as to how how he died though. |

The incident in Federal Way that KIRO and motorola20 reported on is not related to the incident in East King County in the area of 174th Ave SE. The incident in East King County where the TAC team was called out on occured around between 7:00 PM and 8:30 PM where the Federal Way incident happened in the early morning hours. Sounds a though the Federal Way officer died of "natural cause" but can not confirm that until the KCME does the autopsy......Godspeed and R.I.P to the officer |
