:x :x :x Nope - did not find him in the park, though they had a "fresh" blood trail into and through the park.

Sorry for the false lead.

I also heard a brief conversation between a few officers regarding "a guy" that one of the officers approched and was talking with that was sitting in his pickup in the area of the park in North Seattle that also had a gun beside him on the seat, had a bullet proof vest on, etc...

The first cop was asking if a citizen was legally allowed to posses a bullet-proof vest. They both thought NOT, but released the "guy" and told him to leave the area, etc. Wonder if he also had a scanner with him in his pickup.

wtf?

few items of fun, that the bullet proof vest which was in debate (shouldn't be no law says you cant own or wear and that would be insane if there was)

but this guy is likely (IMO) one of them "nut fake police" who some how thought it was acceptable to listen to his scanner then somehow get involved in a shoot out? or somehow make sure that "the suspect was killed" or worse? was he there to help the guy fight???? I do hope the officers kept record of that nut and put him in the "make damn sure we stop and check his trunk every time list"

for fuck sakes, pardon the french but seriously what is the world coming to?

The guy with the BP vest in the truck may have had two guns with him in his pickup.

If I heard my scanner correctlly, I guess the guy approched the officer that was on the north Seattle park detail and he "asked the officer if he was there for the "park" call....

I do know that the first officer DID take the guys info and run his name, plates, licesnse, etc... and all came back clear. SO, they at least know who he is.... (think the guy was in a Toyota PU)

It WAS at Cowen Park (or maybe Cowin Park) just north of the UW in North Seattle. Again, they did NOT find the guy there.

I can't wait until they do find this guy and they can piece together a timeline on his running/excape from the police. I'd like to hear where he all was and WHO has helped hide him.

We NEED to find and "charge" anyone that has helped this scum run and hide. :horse: :chaingun:

I was able to catch this while listening and the officer that approached the vehicle radioed another asking about "body armor" and the other asked if it was a flack jacket/ vest and he said nope same type of armor I am wearing. They went on to say they believed it was legal to posses a bullet proof vest as a private citizen or security guard but not body armor.
