2nd alarm for a residential house fire, 8925 Riverside Drive in Sumner. Units from Edgewood, Puyallup, Riverside 14, Algona (I think, E38?), Sumner, etc. Tones included an 'East Pierce General Alarm'. 154.385 Working EDIT- 1024 hrs- Make that Auburn E32. EDIT- 1027 hrs- Command at scene cancelled 2nd alarm units. Heard Auburn E32 on the VHF, so they apparently maintain it in the engine along with the 800 radio. EDIT- 1034 hrs- http://www.thenewstribune.com/news/upda ... 02775.html EDIT- 1052 hrs- County fire investigator '9103' enroute, command passed hands but did not catch the Chief ID ##'s. Monitoring closed 1100 hrs. |

Just a quick note Auburn Engine 32 does not exist. Auburn FD stopped operating at the first of the year. It is now called Valley Regional Fire Authority. Do you have any numbers of the East Pierce units that were dispatched. Nick |

Huh, who woulda thought it, cities giving up local control over their departments? Anyhow, thanks, I did not know that, I haven't listened to the KC/VC TRS in a few years with a scanner. Negative, the only ones I remember for sure were that 32 unit, Puyallup E-1 and BC-1, and Riverside 1411, I think. I did not catch the initial alarm, but caught chat on PC F-4 that led me to unlock F-1 in time to hear the second alarm. |

Port Townsend Fire and some Jeff county fire districts no longer exist. Now called somethng like East Jeff Co Fire. I'm not sure it's good for the city. |
