Location is the slightly 'U' shaped house just below center of this shot. The onlookers were standing in the semi-circular drive to the right/east of the house.

Looking at how long that forward lay was, I would of layed a dry forward and placed an engine at the hydrant to boost the pressure. Great pics.

I agree with you ... You have to wonder how good the pressure was by the time the water reached the truck..especially with that uphill climb at that distance!
