Engines 11, 12, 14, 24, Ladder 11, Battalion 11, Renton Safety Officer dispatched on 1st Alarm.

Three minutes later Engines 16, 42, 51, Ladder 74, Aid 12, Battalion 51, Medic 7, Renton Fire Chief, Renton Fire Investigator dispatched on 2nd Alarm.

I don't have my scanner set up for trunking right now. Can you give an update on what is going on?. Engines 13 and 41 were moved up to Stations 11 and 16 respectively.

Location: South King County or the beach, usually one or the other.
It was originally dispatched as a minor fire with, as I recall, two engine companies and an aid car. It was almost immediately upgraded to a commercial response. It seems as though it was upgraded to a second alarm almost immediately after the first engine was on scene.

Yes they had quite a few units. They were using a truck's deck-gun for the main fire fighting. They were putting water on both sides and still getting smoke so it sounds like a pretty serious fire. No one was allowed inside per the commander on the scene.

Traffic has pretty much stopped now on the channel.

Hahah - I was watching the space needle on KING-5 and they had a blooper... about 30 secs of no fireworks!
