Just on my way to work there has been (I'm guessing based on traffic heard) that some 20yr old tried to either mug someone or possibly snatch up a kid since this happened near an elementary school in SE Bellevue...
Update: I got closer to work and it looks like the primary suspect passed thru Boeing from the school and police had him on the ground. Must have been about 10 cycle units and a couple of cars. Radio also reported a suspected vehicle with 2 males and 1 female passenger.
Sounds like a classic snatch-and-grab operation... but that's just speculation.
BPD opened up the air on 21424 @ about 9:25am.
