Huge fire...Don't know much else I'm just getting off of work. I'll hopefully have an update in the next hour or so.

All I will say at this time is Yes.

Just got back to the station. It's now in full swing State Mobe. I see the PI picked it up. I overheard our prevention captain on the phone with KING5. The fire started in the Cowiche area and then burned to the south and up and over the ridge and down into West Valley. That's about all there is to say about that...or what I'm going to talk about at this time. zzzzzzzz....

Doug Berndt's site has seen a record number of listeners as far as I am concerned on this fire.

There is also a link to WV-31's radio traffic with WV-304 and WV-45 just prior, during and after they were over come by the fire.

ive been saying for years you cant trust a spartan apparatus and well it let them down when they needed it the most but at least all made it out alive and thats all that matters !!!!!!

It just makes me sick...

I've never been able to tell the difference. Is the Spartan vs. Cental States referring to the cab or the whole truck? Like Rosenbauer trucks have Central on the side. Does that make it a Central States or Rosenbauer apparatus? I'm confused :?:

What is the media purporting that happened to it? I haven't caught up yet.

Hopefully all the firefighters got out of there OK.
What a shame about the truck.
