462.125 is the modern day equivalent of 151.625 (and 464.500/464.550 for that matter). In other words its a default "channel 1" frequency in new radios that people use without having any idea that it requires a license. Where 462.125 slightly differs from the others is that it is common to Baofeng products. To answer your question yes I've heard traffic on 462.125 and all the other default frequencies. Farms, warehouses, hotels, small businesses, kids playing around, etc. |
