I was watching bats fly in and out of the belfry last night, and it got me wondering. A little google schooling later I came to learn; Bats chatter as much as humans They do it in 10-40 KHz range It got me wondering wtf they were saying behind my back, or more like my neck Anyway, it really got me wondering, how would one setup to receive this? Anyone here ever play in this range? |

They would be in the audio range not RF. You might be able to record them with a audio recorder like a tape recorder at 7 1/2 ips and play back on 3 3/4 ips to hear the audio. |

Yes every item used along the path, detector, receiver, recorder would need to respond in this range. I hope things are good up there Jim! |

I think you could use a parabolic microphone and record it on tape. Kind of smokey up this way as probably the same down your way Nick. Good to hear from you! |
