Alpha 3- ...Think that's Unit-1's job

Unit 1- No, it's always been Alpha's job to strip search!

Alpha 3- Show me in the SOP, I dare you!

Unit 1- It's right after the section on Alpha guys and their manlove!

Convo 2, on a local conventional fed channel:

Unit 1- Hey, you'll have local PD here in a minute or so

Unit 2- OK, but why are they coming?

Unit 1- (another agent in the background) Because people around here are fuc*ing idiots!

Unit 2- Ohhhhhhhhhkayyyyyyyy.

Unit 1- Disregard him; he's bitter....However, he is right.

Remembering back to the good old days when the feds were using analog unencrypted comms...

Had been listening to a long term stakeout by feds at the local airport.

They were watching a hanger and running plates for almost 2 months.

Turned on the scanner to the usual freq and all is quiet one morning.

Did a quick search of the VHF fed band and within a few seconds I heard the same farmiliar voices from the stakeout.

They had changed freqs and were so confident that they were not being monitored that they started telling dirty jokes back and forth.

All of a sudden a strange voice came over the air...

" Don't forget to bring home some bread and milk."

Silence........

After about a minute one of the units on the stakeout came on the air again.

"Don't worry they can't hear us... we are using a tone" :D

Note: in case you don't know, our friends to the north use a lot of freqs used down here by feds for business, fire, etc.

I can remember searching the VHF fed band here and hearing someone giving out addresses and found out it was a pizza delivery car in BC. :bowrofl:

One of my favorites is down here in Clackamas County, CCSO was gearing up for a night of picking up some people with outstanding warrants and they were coordinating the setup on one of the TAC channels.

One of the deputies who hopped over first keyed up and went:

"Attention Everyone, I would like to order a litre of cola!"
