GRANITE FALLS, Wash. -- A gunshot fired at a deputies responding to a burglary near Granite Falls Sunday night triggered a huge manhunt for the culprit who could be teenage fugitive Colton Harris-Moore. A deputy told KIRO-TV the shot was fired after an officer found what appeared to a stash of stolen property. http://www.kirotv.com/news/21202526/detail.html Does anybody have audio of this incident when it began ? Is this the *guy* suspected of ripping off a $379,000 Cessna from Boundary county (ID)? Then lands it in Sno Co on some logging clearing? W/O collapsing the landing gear!?! |

He has jacked at least 2 or 3 planes but apparently doesn't know how to land them. He trashed another one on the Yakima reservation. |

Yup. The kid truly has nine lives. It's unknown for sure if this latest incident involved him. However, knowing that many Sno Co. County police agencies the border patrol and a chopper from Homeland Security was utilized, one would assume that the authorities truly believe it's him. |

When he gets out of jail he will make millions on the movie rights. My theory is he was hurt in the last plane crash - out of gas/clear cut landing as he had not moved out of the area in three days. Cool having a federal helo looking for you at 18 yrs old... |

With all the federal charges, I doubt he will even see daylight again. When / if they ever catch him. However, I think it's just a matter of time at this point. If he really did take a shot at police (not discounting the officers account), this would imply he is very desperate young man. And with this being such a high profile case, I would take a guess that it's more likely that he will have a run in with a citizen before law enforcement. *not my opinion, just what I think" :shock: |

CNN calling the kid "Jesse James - but without a gun". Sounds like he needs flying lessons and a trip to the wood shed. Next week the media will blame his deeds on "the rain or weather in the northwest" that causes everyone to go mad. The week after -- Jane Valez-Mitchell will interview someone from the U of W -- that has proof that HDTV and cellular radio signals mix to cause such madness in teens. Just give me my analog scanner and leave me alone. LOL |

This whole story of these two, just makes me mad as heck, I live in Stanwood and I have a long drive to work, please don't take my car, its how I get to my job and is a tool that I use to get paid, and heads up you two chuckle heads, don't show up at my door or I will show you a different tool. you never know what, these two read, just a heads up. |

Whatever happened to 'Join the army, or go to jail' ? I think this would be a good call in this case.. Obviously the kid has some talent, and some balls... but headed in the complete wrong direction... Given some direction, and some responsibility, might turn into an asset instead of a liability. |
