Cool. Ordered one. Will see how it compares to the G6 Aviator.

Works good. Fun little radio. Only quirk is the way they hacked SSB tuning into the firmware, its kind of hokey and makes it a little annoying to spin the dial though the band. Bottom line is the SSB works and its not so bad once you get used to it. I'll have to spend more time with it to get a feel for performance. So far it seems to be on par with the G6.

I read a couple of reviews from the early adopters. I may try it later and/or wait for the next model.

I went with the Tecsun PL-880 portable and love it. It's probably the least-portable, portable SW radio. It's not perfect but still a high quality radio and USB/LSB is great with no silly BFO to worry about. Tuning SSB is a pleasure with this radio. Also, it can be calibrated on-frequency so you never have to compensate again!

For a full-size portable they crammed a lot of electronics into a fairly small package. The price is excellent considering what you get. The rechargeable battery is excellent too -- USB port for charging from adapter or computer. Battery seems to last a long time too.
