Prior to leaving the continental VHF area, outbound aircraft will contact ARNIC San Fransisco on 129.85 where you will hear San Fransisco assign the aircraft the two frequencies on HF currently in use. I'm sure with SEA having more trans-pacific flights than Portland, you will hear it used more. |
