Heard today around 23:30 utc calling out a bunch of letters and numbers
Not sure if this is a numbers station or possible military
Hearing things like "kilowatt zulu mexico" and "kilowatt zulu germany" then random numbers and whatnot

Interesting. 160m usually doesn't get a lot of "throw" unless you are dealing with a lot of power or excellent DX conditions. I'd go to one of the big remote SDR webpages and try a handful of receivers in various locations to see if you can narrow the source area.

There seemed to be another station on around 1890 as well with similar traffic

Both signals were about moderate

Picking this up with a Grundig G5 in New york

Are you sure it wasn't 18030khz? This is a known Russian Air Force frequency and it's fairly high-powered.

Yep im sure it was 1830khz
Calling for "Kilowatt zulu mexico" and "Kilowatt zulu germany"
1890khz with similar traffic - possibly answering the stations from 1830?
Also some mentions of new hampshire

Might have been just HAMs working DX. 160m = 1800-2000khz.
