Post subject:  What is the Frequency of FCC data record updates

I am trying to search for FCC licenses for the new WATCO managed shortline called the Kanawha River Railroad, which has taken over ex Norfolk Southern trackage from Refugee, Ohio, to Maben, West Virginia. (see https://www.watcocompanies.com/services/rail/knwa/ for more info). When doing a search in the FCC search records on this site it comes up with nothing, but the FCC ULS site has all the records leading me to believe that a data dump probably needs to take place here so the search engine has data to operate from. I rely heavily on the "map of all licensed locations" features and so it would be great to search for 160.620 Mhz in Putnum County, WV and have it render all the licenses that meet that criteria. I can find them in the FCC's ULS DB but not here.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for any assistance/suggestions

Try searching using the OLD company name. A lot of short lines are no longer using RR channels of their own and going to Business radio channels. Some shortlines are just not keeping the FCC active.
