Due to flooding in ND, Montana Rail Link will be handling up the 30 or more BNSF detour trains a day for the next couple of weeks through southern MT. Amtrak will run a truncated Empire Builder between SEA and Havre MT. Consist is two units, six cars and baggage, units are run back to back, train consist is not turned so baggage is on rear on westbound trip. Portland to Spokane section by bus |
