The Golden State Medium Community Correctional Facility (GSMCCF) in McFarland, Kern County -- is located at 611 Frontage Road -- and uses 451.05 R/M, 451.10 R/M, and 464.325 R/M for all local operations (WPLK-228). This is a Private Company owned & operated facility. 460.825 R is used at the McFarland Community Corrections Facility - located just around the block on Taylor Avenue. Both units contract with the State DOC to hold state prisoners. This company -- also owns and runs the Northwest Detention Center in Tacoma, WA. |
