Huron PD is moving off of 154.86 (R/M) (159.09 in) (156.7 PL) to a new channel: 155.79 (R/M) (158.895 in) -- shared with Reedley PD -- 40 miles east of Huron in Fresno County. Huron has been on 154.86 for over 25 years -- but Kern County Fire was granted use of 154.86 (R/M) just a few years ago. Since Kern County Fire went on the air -- both agencies have had interference problems. Now -- Kern County Fire will have 154.86 all to itself.

UPDATE: 10/10/2012 -- Huron PD will remain on 154.86 (R/M) (159.09 in). Lack of City funds.
All other PD freqs - have been deleted from FCC permit.
