Home of the HMS Queen Mary and the Boeing - Long Beach Plant -- and former home of the "Spruce Goose". City Police: (141.3 -- KMA-651 -- unless noted) (F-1) 460.125 R/M South Prec - Dispatch (Downtown LB), (F-2) 460.225 R/M East Prec - Dispatch, (F-3) 460.35 R/M North Prec - Dispatch, (F-4) 460.20 R/M West Prec - Dispatch, (F-5) 453.10 R/M - Citywide - Backup / Car to Car, (WNMQ-357) --(F-6) Citywide - Backup / Car to Car / Detective Bru (WNMQ-356) --(F-7) 460.50 R/M Citywide / Backup / Special Ops, (F-8) 453.9375 R/M Citywide - City Command Channel (PL: 123.0) -- (WNUD-833) --, (F-9) 460.025 (R/M) Clemars - Interagency (PL; 156.7). LBPD uses a "flex-channel plan". All hot calls remain "on channel" and regular dispatch is then moved to one of the 3 Backup channels. (F-1) is used as a Citywide dispatch channel from 12 AM until 7 AM, (F-1) South + West Dispatch + (F-2) East + North Dispatch - from 6 or 7 AM until noon, and then 4 channel dispatch from noon until 12 AM. LBPD is licensed for 460.2125 R/M -- but is NOT in use at this time --. The city was given 460.20 in place of 460.45 -- which was assigned to the State of California -- CHP, on a statewide basis. Operation of (F-2) 460.225 and new (F-4) 460.20 prevents use of 460.2125 at this time.

Ex-home of the "Spruce Goose" which now calls the EVERGREEN AVIATION MUSEUM in McMINNVILLE, OR its new home. They were using 467.850 there the last time I
saw it a few years ago. :D
