Both 166.25 & 170.15 are "restricted" for Public Safety / Fire Operations use -- within a 150 mile Radius of New York City. Outside of that restricted area, both frequencies are shared as "RPU" Remote Boadcast Pickup stations by radio/TV stations and various Federal Government Stations / agencies such as the TVA and US Postal service. What are you hearing in your area ??? |

166.25 is used for FD simulcast in West Hartford, CT. |

Hearing some traffic on 166.25 in Naugatuck River valley. Not certain if West Hartford simulcast or other user. |
